We’re all about customisation at Racoon, be it blending lengths, colours or even custom colour work to get the perfect match, but now – we’re giving you as the extensionists even more control!
Did you know, you can now order your extensions in single (natural) and double drawn ratios!
Well, what’s the difference?!
Single, also referred to as natural drawn hair, has more of a taper when it comes to the mid-lengths and ends and responds exactly as our own hair would. As a guideline, 50-60 per cent will be the length that you order, and the remainder will be slightly shorter hair. It’s not quite as bulky and requires minimal cutting.
Double drawn hair has a much larger quantity of long hair. As a guideline, 70 – 80 per cent will be the length you order, leaving a much smaller percentage of shorter hair in these extensions. The end result will be a lot thicker and fuller, however, often requires a little more cutting and blending.
So why offer both?!
Complete customisation. You may have a customer who’s worn double drawn extensions previously and who loves their hair to be super full and thick! Alternatively, it may be that their hair is naturally finer, and they’re just looking for the density to match their own, but add a little bit of length. By offering both ratios of single drawn and double drawn – we’re putting you in the driving seat and giving you total control.
Can you mix them?
Absolutely! This will just flip the ratio one way or the other, depending on what you’ve ordered more of.
